Hello, I'm new to Fitbit and want to use it to log my cycle journeys.
Is it possible to plot a route and get trun by turn navigation on the fitbit app?
I am using it with a new Google Pixel 2 watch so the dream is to work out a suitable cycle rout on google maps then somehow transfer it to the watch and get turn by turn navigation through my buds.
Is that possible? Any help gratefully received.

Hello @benjamin163 and welcome to the Community. I moved your post to the Android app forum. I think it is a better fit for your question, Google Maps isn't a Premium feature. I think you will get more help here. I'm sorry, but I can't answer your question.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.
@benjamin163 Google Maps will show turn by turn navigation on your Pixel Watch 2. If your Watch has LTE, that will operate independently of your phone. If you have the wifi version of Pixel Watch, it will mirror what is shown on your phone. You'll need to have your phone with you to use Google Maps in that case.

Hi, @benjamin163, Interesting question, I've had a play around with my PW2 & agree with @alexthecat & @LZeeW. I wear hearing aids that use Bluetooth and you can set your Maps setting on your phone to use BT (it works for me on a brief walk)
It'll be interesting to hear how you get on.
Cheers

@benjamin163 what you want isn't possible with Google Maps. You may find some apps for WearOS like Komoot app (which is far superior when it comes to planning cycling and running courses than Google Maps).
Best AnswerThanks so much for the reply. I've downloaded Kommut and am going to give it a quick spin now!
I'll let you know how I get on.
Best Answer@benjamin163 Google Maps will require your phone, too. There is no offline navigation available and ability to upload previously plotted route. For that, you'd need a proper sports watch.
Best AnswerYou could just mount your phone onto your handlebar and run any of the app that plots route and show you various bike stats (HR, cadence, speed, navigation, etc). If you are scared that your phone might break if it falls off or you fall off your bike, then you can get a GPS bike computer that displays all stat, along with offline turn by turn display, or even have street map and reroute capability. This is what pretty much all cyclist do. These are waterproof and their battery lasts alot longer than having a phone's display on all the time.
