I have a charge 4, and use the android app for my samsung galaxy s9 or the dashboard on the fitbit website. I would like to set my weight goal to "maintain" but have a range of reasonable fluctuation. As it is, if I log 1 pound over my "goal weight" in maintenance mode, the app tells me I'm over goal. I find that discouraging, and that's why I wanted to set my goal to maintain in the first place. Is there some way to do this that I'm missing?

@rgh101 I don't think you are missing anything and I think you have a good idea. The way to try to get Fitbit to implement this idea is to start a Feature Suggestion and hope that many others want this feature, too.

Thank you @LZeeW ! There actually is a feature suggestion that applies: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Feature-Suggestions/Maintain-Weight-Custonizable-Range/idc-p/5059542... that has been "under consideration" since 2019. If anyone reading this would like this feature, please vote for it and/or comment there.
When the suggestion was first posted, it sounds like there was a range, but it was set by Fitbit and was larger than people wanted. Now there is no range at all.

@rgh101 Thank you for taking the time to search the FS forum before starting a new request. I wasn't aware that there used to be a range in the Maintain option. I voted for it and left a comment, not because I need it right now, but it will help other users. I hope this thread inspires more users to vote.
