My Sense 2 wasn't syncing so I did all the steps and it still wouldn't work. So the next step was to remove the device and add it back to my app. Did that and now the app won't move off the "What are you setting up?" screen. It is just white and spins. I cannot add it back so nothing is counting or syncing.

Based on your comment, this seems more like an app glitch than a syncing issue. Double-check that you're running the latest version of the app.
If that doesn't work, try restarting your watch and then going through the setup process again.

I double checked everything. It all looks good. I restarted and it still does not work.

I tried everything again this morning - restarting my watch, restarting the app, restarting my phone. I am still stuck on the "what are you setting up" screen.

This is really strange, and I'm sorry it's happening to you. Here's what I suggest you do next:
By doing this, you'll likely be logged out of your account and will need to log back in. Then you can try to set up your device again.
