In the old app I could manually log my 1500m swim in metres. Now I have to log in km, but the field won't accept a decimal point. Is this a bug with the new app?

Update on my post: I have found a workaround. When I type a decimal point the field goes red and words appear underneath - "Enter a valid distance" - BUT, if you press "Save" anyway, the entry saves and the distance is recorded in metres. This is probably of more use to those of us working in metric rather than imperial measurements, but it will work for now. Fitbit, please fix this issue properly.

@Melbournegirl yes, despite the error message the value with a decimal point is accepted upon saving. Maybe one day Fitbit will consult it with a swimmer to know what the logging/editing form should look like for that activity. One can always hope...

Great workaround-had same problem with miles and your save answer works with that too. Another example of the flawed new app that Fitbit should address. Thanks!
