Hi, I just got a Pixel Watch 4 and I installed the Fitbit app, and it was set up successfully. However there's another device called "Force" !? I've been trying to remove it but I can. It looks like the app is trying to connect to this device which I've never owned before. Attached is the screenshot when I select the"Force" device to remove.
Does anybody know how I can actually remove this device permanently? I constantly get a message in the app that it can't sync, and it's very annoying because I don't own this device.
Thank you!

Here's a screenshot of both listed devices for reference.

Hello @Mr-Christian
That's very strange that the Fitbit app is showing a device that you never owned.
You could try deleting the data and cache for the Fitbit app on your phone/mobile device. That might clear out whatever is causing the app to show a device you don't have. You might also try deleting and re-installing the Fitbit app after clearing the data.
Just an FYI - The Fitbit Force was a device that was recalled & discontinued in 2014. I don't see it as a legacy device in the Fitbit forums.

Already tried before I posted here.
Is there any way to contact someone in Google/Fitbit to remove this from their end? It's like it's synced on their backend system.

Hi everyone,
I just got a Pixel Watch 4 and successfully set it up with the Fitbit app. However, I’ve noticed that another device called “Force” appears in my list of connected devices. I’ve never owned this device, and despite multiple attempts, I can’t remove it.
Whenever I try to delete it, the app seems to try connecting to it instead, and I constantly get sync error messages for this “Force” device. It’s becoming quite annoying since it interferes with my Pixel Watch connection.
Has anyone experienced this before or found a way to permanently remove an unwanted device from the Fitbit app?
Here’s what I’ve already tried:
Restarting my phone and watch
Logging out and back into the Fitbit app
Reinstalling the Fitbit app
Clearing Bluetooth connections
None of these have worked so far. Any suggestions or official fixes would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you!

@Mr-Christian @julliazm Here is the link to Support. Support might not have an answer for you, but if this is happening to you, it is happening to others. Support can escalate this issue.
Fitbit didn't just discontinued the Force, it decommissioned it. This makes it different from other legacy models.

Hi @Mr-Christian @julliazm - it may help to swipe off the Fitbit App from active tasks, then go to Settings → Apps → Fitbit → Storage → Clear Cache and force stop it.
Also make sure any Fitbit devices are removed from Bluetooth and stop it, then Settings → Apps → 3 dots → Show System apps → Bluetooth → Storage → Clear Cache and force stop it. And also Bluetooth Midi, in case it is hidden in Bluetooth.
In the Fitbit app reinstall the watch (possibly replace the rogue entry)
However it might just be an installation bug and can't be removed untill Google fixes it.

The Force was released in 2014 and was Fitbit's first model with built in GPS.
A few thoughts I have.
If you do not see the Force on this settings page.
