I have set up my new sense on my note 10 plus. Notifications work and testing call works. However when I receive a call I can not answer it on the watch. I have factory reset the device, confirmed connected to the fitbit app, can receive notifications but when I get a call and click answer it answers the call on my phone but doesn't connect to the watch. Any ideas? It's incredibly frustrating when spending so much money on this thing

Hi @CtrlAltDarren - I’m moving your post to the Android forum. Hopefully someone there will have a suggestion.

Hi there @CtrlAltDarren, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble to answer to your calls on Fitbit Sense, I understand why you're feeling frustrated. Thanks for the details provided in your post and for your time in troubleshooting your watch prior to posting here.
Note that you can't speak into the watch—accepting a phone call answers the call on your nearby phone. For more information, see: How do I get notifications from my phone on my Fitbit device?
Thanks for helping us to keep the forums organized @SunsetRunner.

That is incorrect MarreFitbit, the Sense is advertising as it has a built-in microphone and speaker that can take calls from the watch. If the Sense cannot take calls directly from the watch & you are using a newer Android phone, but advertisers that it can, that's false advertising!

Is there a plan to enable Sense watch calling on iPhone?

No as Apple limits that to it's own devices.

It does clearly say 'coming soon'

Thanks. Can you paste the exact link? Are you saying the iPhone call support is coming later?

No, I'm saying that Apple limits that functionality to its own watch. It has not released the api to allow other devices to take calls. The coming soon bit is about the functionality on Android.
Unless Apple change their policy, no FItbit (Garmin, Polar, Coros etc.) will ever be able to receive calls from an iPhone to their watch.

Hi Marre,
I've just bought Fitbit Sense, and I'm disappointed: If you are saying that i can't speak into the watch, then what's the point of it having a speaker on the watch? If i still need to pick up my phone to speak into it, then i may as well answer calls on it. What's a point of answering a call on on the watch, and then picking up a phone to speak?

The functionality is 'coming soon' but only for Android.

I have had this same issue for 5 months. Its April 2021 and it should be working. I am disappointed. I've been a faithful fitbit consumer since they came out. Does not work as advertised.

@DioneRenee have you setup Sense Controls?
When you say that you have the same issue. Which of the issues above so you have? Do you get a notification of an incoming call on your wrist?
Do you get the option to answer the call from the wrist? Do you see 2 or three options?
What happens when you tap answer? Does it answer on the phone?

I am having the same issue. The call appears on my watch but when I tap the call or reject button the watch does not respond. It does not answer on the phone or the watch.

I realize this thread may not be active, but it seemed the best fit (no pun intended). I can be notified of and see text of incoming texts on the Fitbit Sense (v1).. I can reply to those texts using the phone microphone for speech-to-text. So BT is clearly working. I can see incoming calls, and reject them (red icon) which sends the caller immediately to voicemail. But when I click the green icon to accept a call I see "Connecting ..." followed by. "There is something wrong with your connection...." Nothing happens on the phone, and eventually after reaching max rings it goes to voicemail. So ... what is the green "accept" button supposed to do for calls? Seems (sorry to be blunt).kinda useless...What am I doing wrong?
