It is impossible to select a unit of measurement in the food log. Literally impossible. It is invisible, but if you go to where it used to be it pops up, but then of course it does nothing.
It has been like this for months. Has Fitbit quit all development of the android app? Is it time to move on to a different device?

Hi @zredsox ! Nice to see you on the Community! Thank you for your report.
Please make sure that you have the latest version of the Fitbit app installed.
If the issue persists, please go to the settings on your phone>apps>Fitbit app and clear the cache. Don't worry all synced data will remain saved on your account.
If this doesn't hep, could you please attach a screenshot on your reply so that our team can have a better look at it.
Also let me know what mobile device you are using and the Android version on it.
See you around.

Pixel 3XL
The latest version of Android w/ the July security update. Latest version of the fitbit app. Cache cleared.
It is the exact same issue as what people are experiencing in this unanswered thread: https://community.fitbit.com/t5/Android-App/Unable-to-choose-food-tracking-serving-size/m-p/4687673#...
As you can see, where there once was a unit indicator there is nothing. That said, I can click in the invisible area (where units were back when the app was working) to pull up units, they just don't do anything. I select grams, it just ignores that input. I select ounces. Same result. Thus, I am stuck with whatever the default unit is for each food item. So when trying to enter in 105 grams, I instead get 105 servings.

Just got a new pixel 4 to replace my pixel 3XL.
SAME EXACT ISSUE.
Is there going to be an update to the android app to address this?

This issue still persists as of this morning. I'm trying to add 45 grams of avocado and it will only allow servings. Thus, I am already 8,240 calories over my daily allowance.

This glaring, app-breaking issue is not going to fix itself. Ignoring the issue is not a great look from a customer service standpoint. There are multiple threads describing the problem and six months of time to rectify it, yet nothing has been done.
Is there anything I can do to help the developers with this matter? Video? Logs? I'm here to help.
