Can't get Charge 3 to pair

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I got my new Charge 3 in the mail yesterday and my devices can not find it to pair. I have tried 3 different devices.  I googled fixes and I have restarted my phone, and tracker. I have reinstalled the app and removed all other devices.

I have an newer android phone and Blue tooth is not not connected to any other device, I have tried with wifi on and off (you never know).  Now I can not get any of my devices to pair.  I'm really hoping its a systems glitch.  Anyone else having this issue?

Similar issue. Had the Charge 3 working and tried to complete update. I had to remove the device from my account, but now it won't pair to my Android device. Just about to do a hard factory reset.

I'm having this massive issue. My fitbit ionic won't sync this whole week and I'm super pissed off. I am ready to just send this garbage thing back.

>From what I'm experiencing it's not the hardware, it's the software. Most
likely all the updates to correct other issues is causing it to glitch. I
just hope with the next update for the app I will finally be able to link
my devices on my account.

It's 100% because of the latest app update. It's 100% software related. They better hurry to fix this or I'll be buying an apple watch.

Hello everyone!

Thanks for trying to go through all of the troubleshooting steps before getting your Fitbit to sync. Let me try to help you to get it to sync.

The first thing I'd like to do is to ask what phones are you using to try and sync your Fitbit devices? Also, what Android version is it running?

In the meantime maybe you could try to restart the connection itself. You can try the following steps:

  1. Go into your phone's Bluetooth settings and look for your Fitbit.
  2. Remove it from the list of paired devices and restart your phone.
  3. Run the set up process once again to get it to sync.

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Sold my device because you guys keep thinking it's user error when it's
actually your developers fault for messing with the app. I have Garmin now
and it syncs flawlessly.

Wifi seems to be part of the issue for connecting. I unplugged my wifi and
was able to get my watch to connect to my account. And it has been syncing
fine. But that is not working for my Aria2. When I yet to connect it, it
disconnects my watch. I do not get an error or a warning it's
disconnecting. Just says device not found.

Hello @Lorac280.

Thanks for sharing those details. IT is possible that it could be related to the WiFi connection itself. Maybe there is some sort of Firewall or software that is preventing your Fitbit devices from syncing. Do you have access to another internet connection that you could try to setup your Aria with?

Let me know if there are any other questions.

I love in an apartment complex so it could be any of the new tenants
because this was not an issue before. When I try to connect my scale it
telling me my watch is connected and do I want to switch linked devices,
see attached. I used to be able to have multiple devices to my account, why
can I not longer do so.
