Can't get access to a badge notification

When I've tried to open my app today it is very slow and opens with a notification that I've earned a badge.  There isn't any button to press to ok it, just the one to share, and that's not doing anything.  I have no dashboard at the top of the screen, and the last time this problem was addressed on the forums, phones still had physical back buttons to get out of the screen.  

 

I installed a new clock face last night, so I suspect something went wrong there.
