Welcome to the Forums @Lorriedal.
I'll be happy to let you know what is going on.
In this case, given that the Fitbit can't know the specific 'distance' because it can only calculate distance based on the amount of steps. Since you are not taking steps when you are biking, or spinning, then the distance can't be tracked.
I hope this clarifies the situation. Let me know if you have any further questions.
While on a bike Fitbit can use GPS to measure distance, but with shipping the user is not physically moving, this distance is a virtual distance be on the circumference of the tire.
Sorry but Fitbit is not able to measure the type of distance.
One thing would be to add your vote to this suggestion, iOS has the option to edit distance, so it should be easy to make this feature scale to everyone.
I have another question i drive a bus 8 hours a day my fitbit is counting all my driving as steps its up to 25,000 steps how can i stop this and make it only count my steps

Hello @Lorriedal and @Rich_Laue.
I apologize for the delay in my response. Thanks for being around to help @Rich_Laue!
To add to what @Rich_Laue mentioned, to log the drive you should doing it on the Fitbit app itself. Hope that you find it useful.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
