Can't get text msg notifications on Galaxy S21+

I had to upgrade my  phone and got a Samsung S21+. I can receive phone calls but no longer receive any text notifications. Bluetooth says I need an app for the Bluetooth to work. I've read everything and can't get notifications to work.

Plus on Fitbit app I no longer see where I've walked or jogged.  Previously I could track my walking/ jogging path.

@kktres Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.

I appreciate the research and troubleshooting performed prior to posting. I'd like you to try the following:

- Log out from the Fitbit app

- Force quit it

- Clear the app cache

- Log back in and make sure your notifications are properly set

If the workout tile has disappeared from your app, follow these steps to add it back.

Hope this helps.

@kktres Thank you for getting back. In order to force quit an app do the following:

  1. Open the Settings app on the Android device.
  2. Scroll the list and tap Apps, Applications or Manage apps.
  3. (optional) On certain devices like Samsung, tap Application Manager.
  4. Scroll the list to find the Fitbit app to force quit.
  5. Tap force stop.

To clear the cache:

  1. Open the Settings application on your device.
  2. Head Over to Apps Menu.
  3. Choose Installed Applications.
  4. Find the Fitbit app
  5. Select it, Move to the Storage Tab.
  6. Hit Clear App Cache.

Hope this helps.
