Lost steps tracker on Android phone

I've lost the steps tracker on the Fitbit App on my Android phone.  I found a help article on here that said to click the Edit button on 'Today' and to swipe down to find the app to add.  However, there was nothing to swipe down to. Can anyone help, please?

To add the steps tracker to the Fitbit app on your Android phone, please tap Edit and if you see the steps tracker in gray as shown below, please tap the plus sign to add it.
