Can't install Spotify app using Galaxy A9

Hello I have just gotten a Versa for Christmas and I cant install spotify both my App and fitbit are upto date ans I have tried reestablish the connection by unpairing and repairing my bluetooth nothing is working can anyone help me? Very annoying issue got this mainly to be able to control my spotify while I train. When I try and install the app I get a redbox saying "To install this app,make sure that the fitbit app on your phone and fitbit device are upto date' which they are. Please help Thanks

Hi @IXIKANE13IXI. It's great to have a new member around and I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for letting me know about your Versa and the steps tried prior posting. Nice job! I'm glad that your watch and the Fitbit app are updated, and I'd recommend to try the following steps to get the Spotify app installed correctly:

 

  1. Remove the Versa from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your tracker.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and sync your tracker. Wait until it says it just synced.
  6. Tap on your profile's icon > Versa > Apps > Spotify and try installing it one more time.

 

If the issue persists, I'll need you to take a screenshot of the message displayed on the app and attach it in your reply.
