Can't log into Android app

I just tried syncing my son's Fitbit, which didn't work. App logged me out and now says fitbit.com unavailable. I can log on from mobile web but not Android app.

Anyone else have the same or any suggestions please?

Hi @Jumbled_Purpleit's nice to see you again in our Community Forums.

I am sorry to hear you're unable to log into the Android app and receive a message that fitbit.com is unavailable. I appreciate the additional details and I am here to help. I recommend to force stop the app by doing the following: Settings > Applications > find the app >  select it > select Force stop.

If you can't log in to the Fitbit app, it’s often because you set the time manually on your Android phone. On your phone, go to Settings > Date and Time and turn on "Automatic date and time". Some Android tablets don’t have the "Automatic date and time" option, so you’ll need to manually set the tablet to the correct time. The time must be within 2 minutes of the correct time to log in to the Fitbit app. You can find additional tips for Android phones at What should I know about using the Fitbit app on my Android phone?

If your son has an Ace or Ace 2 tracker, you can confirm the steps to sync his tracker in this help article:

Keep me posted on the outcome. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
