  • Fitbit usually gets my sleep somewhat right. But last night it credited me from 1:08 to 5:34am, and a bonus session from 6:37 to 8:00am.

I went to bed at 9 and woke up at 8, with some brief tossing and turning around 615am and some rough sleep from 1130 to 1am.

When i tried to edit the ranges, nothing saved. So I deleted the logs entirely, and tried re add them via log sleep button on the android app.

But the new log won't save either, so now I've got no data at all.

I've tried rebooting my phone, rebooting the fitbit, and crying, and the only things that's helped so far are the tears.

Any other suggestions, or for a device and platform that isn't subject to such bugs?

Hi @Username588  your post was moved to the Android area of the forum for more relevant responses. The Sleep Well area is more social in nature.

Hello @Username588

Although I'm not sure it will work, try clearing the cache for the Fitbit app on your phone. Then try manually adding your sleep log for the missing night, entering your sleep start & end time.

Thanks!

Yeah, I was so fed up with the guidance I got from fitbit that I bought a
garmin.

Fitbit told me to download version 4.28, which isn't even available on the
Google play store yet. I asked if my issue was known to be fixed in v4.28,
and they said no.

So I'm stuck with a buggy app and not even a guarantee that waiting will
fix it, nor any other assurances that I won't encounter the same issue with
a new device.

My fitbit is 6 years old, so due for a replacement. Sadly, through this and
other vanishing or newly premium tier features, they completely blew their
chance at my continued business.
