Can't post activity in camera mode app, App crashes

When I try to post an activity using the camera button the app stops working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app for my Samsung tablet ,it asks for permission to access the photo gallery which I pushed allow, it still doesn't work ,goes to app stopped and send a report. It was working up until a few days ago.

Welcome to the Forums @Gjcampbell.

Thanks for bringing this up. I'll be moving your thread to the Android App board as I think it is better suited for it.

As for the situation itself, I'd like to ask you a few questions:

  • What Android version are you using?
  • Is your app up to date? If not, please make sure to update it
  • When did you first notice this?

Let me know if you have any further questions.

Hello @Gjcampbell.

Thanks for letting me know. I'd like to ask some additional questions:

  • Could you be a bit more specific on the model of the tablet that you are using?
  • When did this start happening originally? Did it happen at all before? Has this always been the case?
  • Do you have any other Android device that you could use to try and test how it goes?

In the meantime, maybe you could go into the tablet's settings and verify if the permission are granted there. It is possible that it won't turn them on automatically and that's why it crashes. If they are turned on manually this might not happen again.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.
