Can't remove old notifications in app

I have 100s of old notifications in the app but no new ones. The ones I have range from Jun 17,2018 to Jul 31,2017.  These are the "You met your step goal for the day", "Almost there....." type message.  I have removed the app (numerous times), cleared the cache, cleared the data, logged out and back in. But they are still there. 

 

I'm running version 3.11 on Android with a Charge 2.

 

Any ideas on how to get rid of them and get the new ones?
