Can't see my steps on the app

I can't see my steps on the fitbit app. I can only see my calories. I dont have a watch, I only use my phone. I have looking everywere but I dont know what to do.. someone know?

@Jonnaj, the data displayed on the Fitbit app are updated from the Fitbit tracker at the time of syncing it, and it is not recorded from the phone. There are phone apps that record steps, etc., such as Google Fit, but the Fitbit app is designed to display data recorded by the Fitbit tracker.
