Can't set up device

When I try to set up my watch on my Fitbit app, my watch says "download or update the Fitbit app".

I have the latest version of the app. I have uninstalled and reinstalled. I have restarted my phone and my watch nothing works.

Please help.

I must be missing something.  Your watch says to download the app.  So now you have the app on your phone.  So don't you just go you app on your phone and proceed from there?

If you already have a Fitbit account, log into it and go to add a device.

If you do not have a Fitbit account yet, create one.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.

Hi @Amber1997  - in addition to what @JohnnyRow says,  when you login to the Fitbit App on your phone, click profile photo (top left) and then click "+ Set up a Device" to add the device to your account.
