Can't set up my Alta

My Alta stopped giving the correct time so I deleted it from my account. When I tried to set it up again the app found the Fitbit but wouldn't connect. The phone is an Android 7.0

The first thing I'd recommend is that you try to follow the steps listed in this help article. While you might have tried some of the steps listed in that article, please try going through all of them in the order that shows in there.

I was able to set up my Fitbit Alta the first time I tried. After about a
month the time would be wrong but the date was right. I tried to restart it
using the button on the charging cable. It didn't fix the problem so I
decided to take it off the app and then to put it back on. I haven't been
able to set it up again.

My android phone is a LG Stylo 3, It's operation system is 7.0.
