HELP!! I am not receiving my notifications for my phone calls on my Versa. I have the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I have no problem receiving text, email, or calendar notifications just not getting call notifications. I done a factory reset. I have uninstalled the app and reinstalled. I have turned off bluetooth. Basically I have done everything. I even returned my first Versa and got another one and still the same issues. It is so frustrating!!

I had the same problem with a Samsung S7. No phone calls on watch but still received text and emails. I also tried all the different suggestions and spoke with tech support just to try everything again to no avail. Oddly, I noticed the time on my phone was off by 2 minutes compared to watch and all other devices. Went to phone settings to change the time and found the automatic date and time was turned off. Turned the setting on and thought nothing of it until I recieved a phone call 1 minute later and it showed up on my watch! Has worked flawless since....... Hope this helps.

Welcome to the Forums @Sheath.

Thanks for letting us know of all of the steps that you have tried in order to get the call notifications to work appropriately.

The first thing I'd like to recommend is that you try following all of  the steps listed in this help article. While I'm sure that you have already tried some of the steps, please try going through all of them in the order that they show up. That should definitely help to make sure that everything works correctly.

Let me know if there is anything else that I can help you with.

I have done everything this article has said to do several times. I'm
not sure what else to do. It is so frustrating when you pay so much
for a product and it doesn't work like it should. I had a charge 2
before my Versa and it worked GREAT!! Considering taking back my Versa
and trying another brand or something. I love the look and the feel of
the Versa but if its not going to work right I don't need it.

Hello @Sheath.

Thanks for trying the steps from the help article.

I'd like to ask you some questions about this situation:

  • Are the calls you are getting from the regular phone option on the phone or from some app like Skype?
  • Did you get the notifications at all at some point or not at all? Even if delayed?

Look forward to your reply.

My calls are from my regular phone not an app. I have never received call
notifications. I get my text messages and email notifications. And
sometimes I will get a notification of a missed call but never a
notification while the call is coming through.

Thank you so much!! I am now receiving my call notifications. I have
always wondered why my phone time was slower then my Fitbit and
Facebook. Now maybe I can enjoy my Versa more.

Awesome! Glad it worked. Hopefully Fitbit will see this. I did call their tech support back and let them know this. They probably thought I was crazy. LOL

I hope they see this also because I am sure there are others having the same issue. This is such a simple fix instead of having to go through all the other steps over and over again.

I can't believe that is all it took to fix my issue.  I actually spent forever on the phone with Fitbit support and they couldn't figure it out.  They actually had me return mine to the store and get a new one because they thought something was wrong with my tracker.  I saw that there were many issues with the Galaxy S7 specifically having this problem so I was hoping a lot of trackers would be purchased for Christmas and the issue would become more of a priority.  The only thing that worries me is I was having trouble with my time because half of the day it would be correct and the other half of the day it would be an hour off.  That is the reason I turned off the automatic time update in the first place so fingers crossed this afternoon the time is still correct.  Thanks again for sharing this fix!!

You are welcome. This really should be part of the trouble shooting when speaking with Fitbit tech support. First thing to check when you tell them you have a Samsung phone.

Mine has worked perfect ever since I turned off the automatic time
update. I also had returned my tracker and got another one before I
posted here. Good luck! Hope this fixes your problem as well!!
