Can't sign into Amazon in the Fitbit app

Trying to sign into amazon via the fitbit app with my new versa 2 and having issues. Its been going on 2 days now and each time it says We're sorry having issues connecting with Amazon. Tried un/re installing and still wont work. Anyone else having same thing?

Hi @Samanthaf101. Welcome! It's great to see a new face around. I'm sorry for the delayed response.

 

Thanks for sharing the error message displayed when connecting to Amazon, as well for the steps tried prior posting. Nice job! I understand how much you'd like to use this function on your Versa 2 and to work on this together I'd recommend the following steps:

 

  1. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Storage > Clear Cache.
  2. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  3. Then clear the cookies on your phone. For instructions, see this article.
  4. Reboot your phone.
  5. Verify that your phone is using a strong internet connection, either through WiFi or a cellular data.
  6. Open the Fitbit app and try to set up Alexa in the Fitbit app one more time
