Unable to pair Versa 2 with Samsung S9

Hello!

I have rebooted my phone, the versa 2 shows up on my bluetooth to pair but everytime I go to pair it the message on my phone says unable to pair and to check compatibility with the versa 2. How do I pair the versa 2 to get text and calls with my samsung galaxy s9? Thank you!!

Thanks for letting me know that you have the Versa 2 and let me help you with the pairing process to get notifications. Your Samsung Galaxy S9 appears in the compatible devices list so it should be working well. Since that's not the case, please verify the following conditions:

 

  • Your phone and Versa 2 are updated to the latest version.
  • The Fitbit app is also updated to the latest version.
  • The location services are enabled.
  • The Fitbit app has been allowed to run on the background.

 

If those conditions are met, please give a try to these steps:

  1. Remove your Versa 2 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  4. Reboot your phone and restart your watch.
  5. Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications one more time.
