Tried to clear cache both on phone and watch, reinstall apps, etc. I don't know if I'm alone with this problem, but I can't connect to the app.
Just does not sync data. Overall, Fitbit is terrible - I use it for about a month and every week something breaks. Couple more and I will be forced to buy apple to be able to track sleep 😕

I found the solution.
In the Fitbit app on the phone and in the watches settings should be the same time zone (and even the city). In my case it was +2 Kyiv in the Fitbit phone app and automatic time zone on the watches (also +2, but another city). I set +2 Helsinki on both devices and after watches restart It starts syncing....
I lost few days for this small thing...

android 6.1.43
Latest Fitbit available both on watch and phone
Everything is functioning properly, except Fitbit and most things Fitbit does.

Hello @vittrum
If I'm reading your reply correctly, you said your Samsung a55 is on Android OS 6.1.43. If this is correct, your phone's OS is the issue. The Fitbit app requires Android OS 10 or higher.

Same issue for me. Mine won't sick. I have a Pixel 8a and Android 15. Something is wrong.

Sorry I meant to say sync, it won't let me edit the autocorrect.

It's happening with Android 15 as well, must be something with their server.

Hi, @spleenlesshiker, go to the phone settings>apps>Fitbit>force stop>clear cache. Return to the Fitbit Icon on your phone & start it. It should now sync. There is no evidence of server issues.
Cheers

I have android 14, 6.1.43 is the core version. I understand that it might be written confusingly, but I assume you might come to conclusion, that 6.1.43 isn't major android version 😉

+1.
I bought PW3 and its completly dont wanna syncing with with fitbit.
Looks like it was connected but sync is failing each time. Also the fitbit app shows that there is 0% on the watches (it is not) .
Are there any ways to debug what is wrong?

I had already done force stop, clear cache, uninstall, reinstall, restarting my phone, manual sync but thanks for a response that didn't help the issue whatsoever. I reached out to Fitbit instead.

Hi, @BlackBerryHub, welcome to the community, can you please provide more information? The make, model & OS version of your phone, confirm you have installed the Watch app and it is connected, The SW version of the Fitbit app on your phone - touch your icon in the top right corner of the "Today" screen of the Fitbit app on your phone>help - the App version is at the bottom of the screen. Note you can sync the Fitbit app by sliding your finger down the "Today" screen & releasing it - you get a sync progress bar in green moving from left to right, and the PW state of charge populates about 2 seconds after the sync is completed.
Please post here again & let us know how you get on.
Cheers

Yup. The same happened to me. My Pixel Watch 1 can't connect to the app; it's even showing that it has 0% charge; however, it's not true, and the watches are almost fully charged now. Despite this, the watch works perfectly, and every other functionality and sync is working perfectly.
Also, I've already done two factory resets, re-installed the app, and followed the Wi-Fi/Bluetooth off-and-on procedure. Still, no luck.

Thank you! Your solution works (I am also from the same time zone). I had this problem two days ago, looks like it's a change from Fitbit side

It helped, thanks. It's very strange that I've never had this problem before. Definitely, something on their side of the server.
