Cannot cheer or chat in challenges.

When I tried to get into my challenges this morning to say hello I realized I couldn't cheer or chat in any of the challenges I am in. Several of my Fitbit friends have messaged me to say the same thing. What is going on??

 I just posted this same issue under the Fitbit Challenges & Adventures Tread. I don’t think is an Android device  issue solely because it’s happening to me as well and I use an iOS device. I’m wondering if it’s across Fitbit in general because all my friends have the same issue because we are discussing it in private message on the Fitbit App. Very odd

I called Fitbit Customer Service and after taking all my information they discussed it with the “Fitbit Team” and discovered there is a large outage that is causing parts of the Fitbit App to not work properly. Mostly the inability to chat in challenges. They are now aware of the issue and said they are working hard to get it resolved and wanted me to pass on that information to the community that they hope to have this large outage resolved quickly.
