Cannot correctly set weight target

I recently wanted to update my weight target and have tried updating it both on the website and the Android app. However, the app persists in showing that I want to 'maintain' my weight rather than lose weight. This is affecting how information about my weight is displayed on the dashboard.

Uninstalling and reinstalling the app makes no difference. Specificially, I have uninstalled the app, attempted to set the weight target on the web (noticed that it insists on displaying a 0.1 kg difference in the target) then reinstalled the app. The app still says I'm maintaining not losing weight.

Is this a known bug? This is new since the 3.14.2 update.

@fluffymitten Welcome to the Fitbit Community. Thanks for the troubleshooting performed prior to posting.

I appreciate the detailed information shared. I'd like you to remove your weight goal by doing the following:

- Go to your Fitbit app

- Tap on the Weight tile

- In the right corner tap the three points > Remove weight goal

Once this has been done, log out from your app, clear the cache and set it up again and make sure you choose lose weight.

Last but not least, this issue hasn't been reported by others.

Hope this helps.
