Cannot get my replacement Charge 2 synced to my fit bit app on my android phone.

I just received my replacement Charge 2 today. I have been trying to set it up so it will sync with the app on my android phone. I am having no luck at all. Any ideas?

You need to go into the account section of the app (select the "business card" icon) and then select "set up a device"

 

Select "Charge 2" and it will ask you if you want to replace your existing Charge 2. Just say yes and follow the prompts. All your data, settings, badges etc will be retained.

Finally got it to sync yesterday but ran into the same problem today. Getting very tired of the device not automatically synching. Very disappointed in the whole device.

Did all that. Still doesn't sync.

Try removing the charge 2 from the app and going to your Bluetooth on your phone and removing any listings of charge 2. then going back into the app and resetting up the charge 2.

What smartphone do you have? Fitbit isn't compatible with most androids produced after mid 2015. Check the "compatible smartphone list" thread

I have a Samsung.  It says it is compatible. The past couple of days it has worked fibe. Will keep fingers crossed. Thanks.
