Cannot sync on wifi

When I connect to WiFi (tried different sources) I cannot sync my charge 2 band to my Xperia z 3 compact smart phone, however if I turn off wifi on my phone and allow mobile data it syncs. Anyone with any ideas of what to do?

Hi

 

If not already done, feel free restarting the internet router (sometimes needing to do here when internet gets slow.. if it's turned on for a longer time) Cat Embarassed & optionally restart the phone.

Dear Fitbit support,

 

please can you help me, I have the same issue. I have new Fitbit Charge 2. So I've downloaded Fitbit Androdit application and logged in over wifi. So far so good, just not device connected. And then once I've paired Charge 2 the issues with wifi have started. After opening the Fitbit application I'm loosing access to internet (btw fitbit sync is not succesfully completed). However the phone is still showing that it is connected to wifi (wifi has hidden SSID and wpa2 security) but there is no internet connection. Web browser is telling that it is in offline mode, facebook can't connect to internet nor my email client. Phone restart is not helping. To solve the issue I have to uninstall the Fitbit application and then it is all back to normal. Wifi is connected and internet access is available.

 

On the other hand this issue is only with wifi. Over a cellular network Fitbit can synchronizes. Just wifi is the issue. But it is really bothering me, can you help me please?

 

I have Sony Xperia T and Androdid 4.3.

Fitbit Support does not monitor these boards, or respond to them. If you wish to talk with support, you need to contact them directly - Contact Support.
