Cannot upload photos in the community chat

When I select the photo option (camera icon)  in chat it just bombs out - nothing happens

Thanks for bringing this up. Let me help you figure out what is going on.

First I'd like to ask you some questions that could shed some light into what is going on. Please let me know the following:

• What phone are you using?
• Which Android version is it running?
• When did this start happening?
• What app version are you running?

In the meantime let's try to uninstall the app and then install once again. It is possible that something was not installed properly or was corrupted and doing this will resolve that issue.

Keep me posted on how it goes or if there are any other questions.

Pie: *Versions* 9.0.0 on Huawei mate 10 pro. I've already tried removing
and uninstalling.

Thanks for bringing this up and sharing those details. 

The first thing I'd like to recommend in this case is that you verify that you are using the latest version of the Fitbit app. You can click here to read more about it.

Additionally, I'd like to ask if you have access to another mobile device that you can use to test the same and see if it works. That could shed some light into what might be happening.

Finally please let me know if you get an error message when the app is closed after you tap on the photo icon.
