@BCfree Hi and Welcome - I will try and give a suggestion or 2 but would you provide your device type and phone type to pin down the error,
in the mean time was your device already set up and working before the update - and was it already paired to your phone?
it may just need turn off blue tooth - then go into settings>app>fitbit>storage>clear cache and then restart phone - then go back to Bluetooth and turn back on
if you are trying to set up a device you will need to do this via phone or PC and not over Bluetooth - I can provide further information on this once I know the device and phone type
