So my goal calories burned is 2400. Today I only walked a little over 7000 steps and am already at 2229 calories burned. Curious, I checked previous days and the numbers aren't even close. There was one day a few months prior I had over 8000 steps and didn't even burn 2000 calories. And recently on days I exercise I can burn well over 3000. This just seems excessive to me. I'm not sure if I changed or if the fitbit is broken.

Hello @ashscott94, welcome aboard to the Fitbit Community! I was reading your post regarding the amount of calories you are burning with your exercise which in some days the rate is higher. Keep in mind that half of the calories come from your BMR.
The calorie burn estimate that Fitbit provides takes into account your BMR, the activity recorded by your tracker, and any activities you log manually. So the amount might be higher depending of your daily routine. For more details visit this article: How does Fitbit estimate how many calories I've burned?
Just a quick note, review that your app is updated to the last version. The last week we released a new update of the Fitbit app in Android that will improve the stability of the app. For more details please visit the following post.
See you later and stay tuned for more help.
