Changing from a Sense 2 to a Pixel Watch 2

I've been trying unsuccessfully to replace my old Sense 2 watch with my new Pixel Watch 2.  I go thru all the steps, get to the point where I'm ask if I want to replace my Sense 2, I say yes, then nothing.  I get a black screen with a circle that keeps rotating.  I don't understand why I'm having so much difficulty as it has never been an issue before.  I'm wondering if its because it is a Google watch?

Hi, @Poodlemama, welcome. Can you confirm you've downloaded the Pixel Watch app and set up your Pixel Watch? Check the Pixel watch is up to date by navigating to the Play Store app on the watch>swipe up until you reach manage apps>you will now see any waiting updates.

Gemini provides this guidance -

Step-by-Step Setup Process
  • Prepare the Watch: Charge your Pixel Watch to at least 20% and turn it on by pressing the crown for 3 seconds.
  • Install Apps: Ensure both the Google Pixel Watch app and the Fitbit app are installed on your Android phone.
  • Pairing: Open the Pixel Watch app on your phone, follow the prompt to connect, and select your watch.
  • Connect to Fitbit: Within the Fitbit app, go to the "Today" tab, tap your profile picture, select "Set up a Device," and pick the Pixel Watch.
  • Finalize: Follow the on-screen prompts to sync your data and customize settings.
Key Tips
  • Existing Accounts: If you have an existing Fitbit account, you may be prompted to move it to a Google Account.
  • Troubleshooting: If the watch doesn't sync, ensure it is properly connected via Bluetooth and the Fitbit app is updated.
  • Features: Once set up, the watch automatically tracks steps, heart rate, and sleep, which can be viewed in the Fitbit app.

I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers
