Hi,

I have had a charge 2 for over a year and it was working fine about 6 weeks ago it stopped syncing with my LG G5 after about a week it started syncing once a day at random oclock in the morning or only after a reboot of my phone. my fitbit account has also stopped talking to stravia and endmondo

I have forget the device and readded it 10 plus times ( this takes hours to get it to read )

I have restarted the fitbit.

I have turned off all day sync and added it back in

Both the phone and fitbit have all the avaible updates

It pointless saying to use a laptop because that dosnt give me GPS to track my activity when out on my mountain bike

Until it stopped working it was great the GPS and All day sync worked fine and text notification was reliable.

but for no reason I can fin its now next to useless please can you tell me how to get it working again

Hello @AndrewB40, it's nice to see new members in the Fitbit Community! Indeed in this case is not useful to sync with the Computer as you are using the GPS feature, for what is need it your phone.

The LG G5 is not listed as a compatible device, so we cannot guarantee the behavior of your phone in relation to the Fitbit app and your tracker's functionality. Whit this I'm not saying it won't work at all, but there might be certain issues like the one you are mentioning that could interfere with the usage.

Beyond my previous statement, I've seen you have tried different troubleshooting steps, so I'm just going to recommend these steps for you to review if there is something else missing that could help: Having trouble syncing? (here's how to fix this).

Also you can try the following in your app:

Please log out from your Fitbit app and go to your phone settings. Access to the App manager option and look for the Fitbit app in your downloaded apps list. Once you are there, clear the app cache and data and proceed to "Force Stop" the app. Finish the workaround by restarting your phone. When your phone has initialized, go back to your app and try again.

Hope this helps. See you later!
