I have a Moto G6 phone. Until about 1 or 2 months ago I was receiving these notifications just fine. I have tried turning off the notification in the app and on the Charge 2, as well as bluetooth, to try and reset everything. I have also tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app. I get the phone call notifications, but no text messages or calendar ones. What else can I do?

Hi @AlyssaK4. Thanks for the heads up.
I'm sorry that the notifications aren't working consistently on your Charge 2. Since your phone hasn't been confirmed to be a supported device, could you please try with another phone that it's in the official list? This will help me a lot to continue working with you.

Hi @AlyssaK4 Android app is being updated to 3.7 and you need at least Android 7 to get the latest app. I don't see your phone on the list of compatible devices? click to see
Also, I've moved your post to the Android area of the forum for more relevant responses.
I have Android version 9 - it is up to date with the latest version. And as mentioned, I had no issues until about 1-2 months ago. I've had my phone since Oct 2018 and my Charge 2 was doing everything fine when I got it at that time.
Best AnswerAlso @Odyssey13 - I don't know if it is absolutely an app issue or an issue with my Charge 2. That's why I put my question in the Charge 2 forum.

Hi @AlyssaK4 and @2shoes. Welcome on board! It's great to have you here. @Odyssey13, thanks for bringing this thread to my attention.
@AlyssaK4, thanks for the troubleshooting steps that you've tried prior posting, as well for the information provided. Since your Charge 2 was able to receive notifications before we can work on this together. Just note that we cannot guarantee the Fitbit app functionally since it hasn't been optimized to work with your Moto G6 phone.
@2shoes, thanks for joining this thread and letting me know that you're having this situation. I've confirmed that your Huawei P20 Pro is a supported device, and I'm glad the Fitbit app is updated.
I'd appreciate if both of you could try the following steps in the given order:
Let me know how everything goes.
@LizzyFitbit - I did all that and it seems it still isn't working. When I think about it, I do think they might've stopped working after my phone updated to the latest Android version back in August, so maybe it's really that the app needs to be compatible with the latest update for that. I do get phone call notifications - just no text messages, which is a little confusing to me.

Hi @AlyssaK4, thanks for keeping me updated, and I'm sorry for my delay.
I also appreciate you for checking the information posted above. While the notifications feature may not be working correctly due your phone not being a compatible device, let's continue working on this. Let me share with you that our team recently released a new version for the Fitbit app which has a fix for the notifications issues that some of our users are experiencing. Although you mentioned that the Fitbit app is updated, could you please verify if you have the 3.7 version in the Play store? Also, let me know the name of the messaging app selected to receive notifications.
Look forward to your reply.
@LizzyFitbit - Sorry for the delay in response. Yes, I had version 3.7, and just updated to 3.8. I'm hopeful to see if it works better with that version. The only notifications I do not get are text messages. I get calls and calendar notifications, so it seems very odd to me that the text message notifications are not coming through. The messaging app I use is just called Messages.

Hi @AlyssaK4. It's great to see you back.
Thanks for updating the Fitbit app to the 3.8 version, and if possible please try rebooting your phone. Once that is done, test your Charge 2 and let me know how it goes. Another suggestion is to use a supported device, so we can confirm if this issue relates to your phone's compatibility.
I'll be around, keep me posted.
@LizzyFitbit So, I did get a couple of text message notifications after updating my app, but then I restarted my phone last night because it was running slow and needed it. Since I did that, I have not received the notifications of the 2 text messages I have received so far today.
So to sum up - it was working briefly, but isn't working again.

@LizzyFitbit I don't have another device to use, so I'll just have to keep hoping that Fitbit gets it's act together to make it fully compatible. It really makes no sense to me that the text message notifications were working and aren't anymore.
