I am getting fed up with Fitbit, I changed my mobile from a Huawei p8 lite to Samsung j6 to ensure I could sync them however it doesn't work. Iv tried all the tips on here and still nothing. Also my daughter has charge 3 which worked fine initially but now will not update or sync, waste of money if they will not work especially on phones listed as compatible

Welcome to the Forums @Lm55.
Thanks for sharing with everyone and trying all of those steps to get everything to work.
I'd recommend that you both try to follow the steps listed in this help article. While you have tried some of those steps already, please try to follow all of them in order. They should help so that your Charge 3 starts syncing.
Let me know if you have any further questions.

I have already tried all the possible tips and on more than one occasion. I shouldn't have to though the ongoing syncing issues with fitbit has really let the devices down over the last few months. If this does not start to resolve soon I will have no option but to take the matter further. I am very disappointed with the current issues as I have an active family who like to track their progress and this is not possible with fitbit, think we will be looking for alternative devices shortly.

Hello @Lm55.
Thanks for trying those steps.
In this case I'd like to ask some questions:
Look forward to your reply.

The message simply said not working and suggests turning bluetooth off and on . My phone connects to other bluetooth devices without any issues. I have removed them also and tried all suggested steps with both my fitbit and daughters new charge 3 and neither working. Both provide pin then do not connect
Thanks

Hello @Lm55.
This might be happening because the J6 is not part of the supported devices list. This means that the app has not been fully optimized to work with that phone.
As long as it fulfills the minimum requirements, Android 4.4 and Bluetooth 4.0, there is a possibility that it can work but we cannot guarantee it.
If none of the above works, you could try to use a computer or another mobile device to try and sync your Fitbit to your account. Click here to get instructions on how to sync with other devices.
As for the P8 Lite, after extensive testing, we have determined that it is not compatible with Fitbit products.
Let me know if you have any further questions.
