Charge 2 not syncing

I have been trying to sync off and on for the last couple hours.  Android phone.  No problems til today.  Have had Charge 2 since January and Charge HR (which I don't use any more) for over a year before that.  Is it me or you?  Any suggestions?

I'm thinking it might be the app, mine won't sync either. Hasn't all day.

My Charge 2 keeps turning Bluetooth off and on, that's why its not synchronising , its been like this for 2 days now.

My Charge 2 is syncing fine so I'm not sure it's a general problem.

 

The best thing to try when you have syncing issues is a restart of the fitbit using this procedure:

It's worth trying this a few times as it doesn't always work. If it still won't sync after that then there are some troubleshooting steps in this help file: http://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866

I'm having the same problem.  I've had the HR for 3 yrs and the charge 2 for over a year, and I've had problems for about 2 weeks getting either one to sync.

Hi,
I found my charge 2 would not sync due to the latest fitbit software
update 22.22.53.4 not being compatible with my android device which was
running android 4.4.0. I have now updated this to the latest android
version, now everything seems fine. It's a shame we were not warned
about this, as it's just cost me another device.

mine stopped syncing on Friday - Have spent all afternoon trying to fix it but so far nothing has worked

If the multiple restarts and troubleshooting steps mentioned above are not working for you then it might be best to contact customer support via:

contact.fitbit.com

 

The Charge 2 can hold 7 days of data between syncs so there is still some time to fix the problem before you start to lose data.

Hi,
My syncing problem was caused by a new fitbit software update, that was
not compatible with my android tablet that was running android 4.4.0,
so I have had to update a tablet that there was nothing wrong with.
Now I can syncing ok. Hope this helps you.

  1. When did you begin experiencing these syncing issues?The issue started on the 14th of August. 
  2. What make and model mobile device do you have (Samsung Galaxy S5, S6, Note 6, etc)? Samsung S7.
  3. What Android OS are you currently running (go to this link from your phone's internet browser to find out)?Knox 2.7.1
  4. What phone provider do you have (Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, etc)? VERIZON

I found that if I restart my fitbit every 3-4 weeks, all is well.
