Charge 2 not tracking steps accurately

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I just put my charge 2 on and it's saying I have completed over 40, 000 steps and earned multiple badges, etc. I obviously hadn't completed any steps yet, how do I erase those steps so I can start over?

Hi @Mvyrass, Always its nice to have new members in our Fitbit Community. It seems your tracker might have an error in the internal software, although before we jump to this conclusion make sure of the following:

- The place where you left your tracker is a flat surface and there are no draft of air or any other device that could cause near vibrations, that can be translated as steps by your tracker.

- Review your Dashboard charts to see if the steps were not carried from a previous day. If this is the caused of the issue, review the timezone settings of your account. Go to Account > Advanced Settings and review your timezone configuration.

If the previous recommendations are not the root of this issue, please proceed to restart your Charge 2. For additional help regarding the restart you can review this post.

This should do the work, otherwise you can find me here if the issue persist.
