Charge 2 stopped syncing with Moto Z

It stopped randomly yesterday, and I've tried every online suggestion.

 

Any ideas how to get my syncing back with my Moto Z?

Was one of things you tried a restart of your fitbit using this procedure?

If so, how many times did you try it? It's known to not always work and it's recommended to try it at least 3 times.

A couple of days ago, me and my wife bought a pair of Moto Z, to replace a pair of Note 2.

The Note 2 were perfectly working with the Charge 2

 

We turned off the Note 2, installed the Fitbit software into the two moto Z, and then logged in our user accounts.

The two Charge 2 trackers, immediately started working and synced with the moto Z phones.

 

During the installation, you must take care to give the app the authorization required (otherwise the sync will not take place)

 

Enabling and configuring the notification menu, the trackers started reporting the Whatsapp messages...

 

Even if the phone does not appear in the compatibility list (must be said that the list seems not to be maintained indeed....) it seems to work perfectly.

So far so good.....
