Charge 2 upgrade

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I have seen other upgrade problems and have followed instructions with no joy.

For the past 3 weeks I have been trying again and again. I have reset fitbit by holding button in. I have turned off Bluetooth. I have unpaired and then paired. I have tried turning phone off and on - all of this numerous times. Fed up now - what else should I try?

Thanks

Have you tried Garmin?

Hi @Lorraine111, I am assuming that the upgrade you're referring to is the firmware one that is appearing on the app when you open it.  Is your charge 2 still functioning normally?  If it is I would hold off from that upgrade for a bit. The charge 2 forum has a steadily growing thread about charge 2 total failures after loading the firmware. Failure to turn on, failure to find device, not synching and battery draining are all being reported.

As many charge 2 owners have had their trackers for some time the response tends to be no warranty,  no help, buy a new fitbit.  The forum replies consist of crickets and tumble weed.

I'm waiting for any positive response before risking bricking my charge 2.

Thank You, I was given a charge 2 from a friend who found it in donations to opshop.   The Fitbit is good for me, I just want the steps and heart /oxygen,   So I will ignore the firmware upgrade,    I can pretend It's not there.  A bit of - if it's not broke don't fix.   Blessings
