Charge 2 won't sync to s7 edge

Have been trying to finish syncing charge 2 to my s7 edge, however, it keeps referring me to permissions it needs granted. As soon as I try to give it the permissions it needs, it stops me and says that there is a screen overlay problem. The trail stops cold then. Help?

I know this reply might be a bit late, but it is worth answering! 

 

Have you verified that your Fitbit App is up to date? If it possible that the app is not on its latest version and it could cause the overlay problem you mentioned. You can update it by doing the following:

1. Open the Google Play store on your S7.
2. Tap the menu button.
3. Go to My Apps and choose the Fitbit app.
4. Tap Update. If you want automatic updates in the future, check the Allow automatic updating box.

 

The app will then update and it should start working normally.
