Charge 2 won't work

I have a Charge 2 that used to work.  Now I can't get it to record steps or sleep on my Google Pixel 2 XL or my MAC laptop.  I put all the notifications on, but nothing. The last time it sync'd was Feb. 18.  It was working, stopped, started working sporadically, and now does nothing. It is listed under Paired devices for Bluetooth, but if I click on it, it shows a connect button that does not respond.

It is so frustrating that there is no Customer support for Fitbit.  Once you buy it, you are on your own with issues.

What has happened?  it used to work without issue.  Now I'm getting ready to just throw it away as it is so frustrating.  Any suggestions?

Hi, @Maryann6! A few things: first, have you tried restarting your tracker several times? Second, a number of people on Android, myself included, had recently had issues with syncing. For me, they were actually somehow mostly resolved on the current app version, but there is a new app version rolling out soon that should help with the syncing. I would check your app store to see if you have that yet. Finally, there is an option to contact Fitbit Support directly, usually via email, chat, or phone here. They can also help you troubleshoot.

Thanks for your reply.

I reload Fitbit on my Mac and it works there, but not as well as it used
to. I can manually get the Charge 2 to sync on my Mac, but when it says go to
Dashboard, it doesn't, it goes to the Google screen and I manually have to
go to Fitbit.com.

However, I still cannot get my Google 2 XL phone app to sync. This all used
to work fine. What is Fitbit up to that it breaks what works before having
the replacement??? And getting support is so hard. It's getting harder
and harder to recommend them. I used to be so excited about them, but they
get worse and worse. This is sloppy.

You have been very helpful; it's the first sign of life I have gotten
regarding my Fitbit.
