Charge 3 can't get text/phone notifications

I just got my Charge 3 and connected it to my Google Pixel 2 phone just fine but I haven't been able to get any text/phone notifications at all. I have tried resetting the Charge 3 and my phone, turning notifications on and off to no avail. My Bluetooth is on and my app and Charge 3 have the most updated versions. Please help! Thanks!

Thanks for letting me know about your Charge 3 and the steps tried prior posting. You did an amazing job! Your Google Pixel 2 phone has been confirmed to be compatible with the Fitbit app and to work on this together I'd recommend to give a try to the following steps in the given order:

1. Remove any device from the Bluetooth settings.
2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections nearby.
3. On your phone's settings tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
4. Uninstall and reinstall the Fitbit app.
5. Reboot your phone.
6. Verify if the Fitbit app is allowed to run on the background within your phone's settings.
7. Open the Fitbit app and set up the notifications.
