Hello. I've had my fitbit charge 3 for well over a year and a half. Over the last couple of months, when I do a bike exercise thru my watch, I have constant connections issues. I start the exercise from the watch, then need to open up the app and refresh/ sync to connect. Everything seems OK, but after only about 5 minutes, it disconnects. I have to reopen the app from the phone and again refresh/ sync to connect. This again only gets me about 5 minutes. Restarting my phone, restarting my bluetooth, has not fixed it. Using a Samsung galaxy s9.

Sounds like the app doesn't have permission to run in the background.
Or
The app is in the foreground when the phones screen turns dark.
Either of the above situations will break the gps communication.
