Charge 3 not syncing with Samsung Galaxy S8

My Fitbit is only 6 months old,  and it hasn't synced for 2 months. I was waiting for possible updates, but I want a refund or a new Fitbit if it won't work! Waste of $250!

Hi @RedFeffer. Welcome to the Community Forums!

Thanks for bringing this to my attention. I understand where are you coming from, and I'm sorry that you've had this experience with your Charge 3. Be sure that I'm here to help you out! Let me share taht there are some factors that may prevent your Fitbit device from syncing. Since your Samsung Galaxy S8 phone is a supported device, please make sure of the following:

  • The Fitbit app is updated to the latest version.
  • Your Fitbit device and phone are within 20 feet.
  • The location services are enabled within your phone's settings.
  • To avoid any interference, turn off other Bluetooth connections when not in use.
  • If you use more than one device to sync, make sure the other device isn't nearby.

Once you've met those conditions, please give a try to the following steps:

  1. Remove your Charge 3 and any other device from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  3. Reboot your phone and restart your Charge 3.
  4. Open the Fitbit app, tap on the account icon > setup a device.
  5. Choose the Charge 3 and follow the onscreen instructions.

Also, let me suggest to check our warranty policies here for any warranty-related inquiry.

Let me know how it goes.
