please add me to long list of people who's Fitbit is not syncing to phone anymore I have the samsung s8 and it will not sync at all anymore iv had the fitbit charge 3 for less than a year and it's the worst 1 iv had so far

Thanks for the information that was share din your post. If you haven't already done so, I recommend you to check how the syncing procedure works here and see if there's a missing requirement on your Android mobile device that's preventing the syncing procedure to be completed. Also, you can move forward to the troubleshooting steps that are specified on: Why won't my Fitbit device sync? and let me know how it goes.
