Charge 3 stops syncing after closing the app

I have been facing a lot of issues with my Charge 3's sync. The watch stops syncing the moment I leave the Fitbit app and does not do the same until I click on Sync from the notifications panel or open the Fitbit app. I have been facing a lot of sync issues with my Charge 3 on my One Plus 6 for the past few weeks and it's getting really annoying.

Please fix the issue as soon as possible.

Hi @Anushka1110. Welcome to the Forums. Sorry for the delay.

I'm sorry for the syncing issues that you've had with your Charge 3 and thanks for the information provided. Your OnePlus 6 phone has been confirmed to be a compatible device and I'll be here to help you out with this. Just to verify, when you said that you leave the Fitbit app do you mean that it's closed and not running on the background? Also, is the issue with the automatic sync or do you also have issues to manually sync?

If you've not done so, I'd recommend to try the following:

  1. Remove your Charge 3 from the Bluetooth settings.
  2. Turn off other Bluetooth connections that are nearby.
  3. On your phone's settings, tap on Apps > Fitbit > Storage > Clear Cache.
  4. Go back one screen and tap on force stop.
  5. Reboot your phone and restart your Charge 3.
  6. Open the Fitbit app, tap on profile's icon > Charge 3 > Sync now.

If your Charge 3 is able to sync, make sure to keep the All-day sync and Always Connected turned on, as well to allow the Fitbit app to run on the background so it can sync throughout the day.

I'll be around, keep me posted.
