Used to have a Samsung S& with no pairing issues whatsoever. The Samsung A* has been more problematic. Yesterday simply stopped pairing at all. I followed all the steps given in this forum, but no luck. I dragged out the old S7 and it still pairs easily. Turned the S7 off again. I've uninstalled and re-installed the app on my A8 several times. Turned on and off the bluetooth, rebooted the watch, made sure the permissions are set. At this point the newly downloaded app cannot find the watch at all. Must be a setting somewhere I'm missing.

@Avee8torus Welcome! It's good that the community is growing!
Let me help you syncing your Charge 2 with your phone and thank you for troubleshooting this issue. Your phone doesn't show as compatible but that doesn’t mean it won’t work it just means that it hasn’t been tested by our team. You can try the following:
- Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
- Restart your phone and restart your device.
- Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
- You can find troubleshooting instructions here.
Let me know how it goes.

To start, the Galaxy A8 is listed as compatible. Second, I have already tried everything you have mentioned. It was syncing with the phone - not perfectly- but it was working. Then suddenly it stops working at all. Was there an update to the app? What changed? The watch is only 18 months old! Still pairs with the old S7, so it's not the watch. Feel really annoyed!
