My charge 3 isn't lighting up when I tap it. It is not vibrating for hourly steps, not vibrating for text or calls

Sounds like you could be in DND (do not disturb) or Sleep Mode.

Before posting, re-read to see if it would make sense to someone else not looking at your Fitbit or phone.
