Hi all,
I bought my first Fitbit yesterday, the new charge 4, hoping to get it running as advertised with all the new features.
I notice that if i wish to try and connect spotify, or even certain clock faces, i get the following message: "To install this app, please make sure that the Fitbit app on your phone and your Fitbit device have the latest update".
How do I solve this issue please?
Phone: OnePlus 5
Android version: 9
App version: 3.19.2

Your Charge 4 needs an upgrade but it can take a day or two before it becomes available on new devices. See this thread for more details:

I contacted customer service who said I need to update my app to version 3.2. Do you know if that's correct? As far as i can see, there is no android 3.2.

The change you are waiting for is to the Charge 4 firmware rather than the app although it's generally a good idea to keep the app up to date too. The latest version of the app is 3.20, see: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/2025/
