Charge 4 all day sync

Hi, I find that my battery doesn't really last the 7 days that it needs to last and it's probably because it's constantly syncing. I went to the dashboard but there is no "turn all day sync off" option anymore. Any other way I can save the battery life if turning that off isn't an option? Thank you 🙂

The "all day sync" setting has been removed from the android app but Fitbit claim this should not cause battery issues. They say:

"To improve your experience with notifications, syncing, and firmware updates, we removed the option to turn off all-day sync from the Fitbit app. When your phone is near your Fitbit device with Bluetooth turned on, it periodically syncs with the Fitbit app to update your stats and download available firmware updates. More frequent syncing rarely, if ever, noticeably decreases your device’s battery life"

Fitbit also have a guide for maximising your battery life at Help article: Can I extend my Fitbit device's battery life?

Hopefully something in there will help.

Do you make much use of GPS on your Charge 4? If so, this may explain your battery running down as a fully charged Charge 4 will only last 5 hours with GPS running.
